At Primal we're trying to make both the work environment, and World's environment a little nicer. We have taken some steps to clean up our process to make things safer and friendlier to the air we breathe, and the water we drink.

Primal is Calgary's first 'enviro-conscious' screenprint shop, and we are furthering our efforts to be more green all the time. Below are a few of the initiatives that we currently adhere to:

• Non-solvent based clean-up chemicals. We now use only citrus and soy based products, when available, instead of petroleum chemicals or keytones.

• Unbleached paper-towel

• Recycle program to re-use/re-purpose supplies such as cotton, paper, and ink or toner cartridges

• water-based palette adhesives

• A focus on electronic, rather than paper, advertising and promotion

• Offer 100% cotton, and fair-trade product

• Energy conservation: a strict 'lights-out' policy

• Fuel conservation: we conserve both vehicle and heat-energy fuels. We only consume what we need, and when we need it.
